We appreciate your interest in adopting a HALT graduate. We are happy to share that the Fall 2023 class is getting started! Check back here or on our Facebook page for early updates. We are accepting applications for the new class at this time. The adoption fee is $250, and you can learn more about how this fee helps support the HALT program here.

The Fall H.A.L.T. classes will start on Monday, September 11th, and graduations will complete on October 5th. Dogs will be ready to go to their new homes on Friday, October 6th.

In order to provide our HALT dogs with the best possible home environment, we ask you to complete this adoption application below.

HALT’s Adoption Committee will review all applications and complete veterinary and reference checks, home visits, and interviews. Please note, that while applications and home visits will be conducted prior to graduation, dogs are not able to go to their new homes until the completion of the HALT classes. H.A.L.T. serves Knoxville, TN, and immediate surrounding counties. Because of our home visit policy, we are unable to have adoptions outside of our area at this time.
