Adoption Event #4: The Black Dog Brewhouse

By |

Our fourth event will be at The Black Dog Brewhouse (formerly Elst Brewery). We invite you out to meet our pups participating in class this session. They are looking for their furever homes! They’ll be ready to show off some of their new skills. The weather wasn’t nice to us this week so most of our third week classes were cancelled.

Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, please come by to meet the class! Socializing is an important part of our training as we want to introduce them to others when possible. We don’t want to overwhelm them, but let them meet new humans too!

This session we have Espresso, Gadget, Hogan (pictured left), and URL (pronounced Earl)

All dogs are medically screened, fully vaccinated, microchipped, on heartworm preventative and flea/tick meds, and will have beginner basic obedience training at the end of their 4-week course.

We are accepting applications and will work on home visits while classes are going on. All dogs will be able to go to their new homes on Friday, Oct. 4th after graduations.

All breeds and ages are the best guess from our Dog Selection Committee and Veterinarian.

Meet Calamity Jane!

For our fourth event, we’re trying something brand new. All of our dogs this time are very energetic and would make great running partners. So where better to find them new homes than at a KTC 5k race? The Hard Knox Pizza Dogwood Classic 5k begins and ends at the parking lot with the bathrooms in Sequoyah Park at 2250 Cherokee Blvd. (For some extra funds, you can sign up for the race here: https://runsignup.com/Race/TN/Knoxville/DogwoodClassic5K)
