Our spring session is here! The “Fab 5” are with our vet getting to know each other better, and getting all their vaccinations and medical care finished up. We are excited to get them to the kennel early April so we can start training with them and their new student trainers. Applications are now being accepted on all 5 dogs.
Classes will start Monday, April 13th. We do still need a couple of volunters in in Monday/Wednesday 1:30-2:30p class and our Tuesday/Thursday 6:30-7:30p class. If you are interested in volunteering, please visit our Volunteer page to learn more.
Our first adoption event is Saturday, April 11th at Mast General Store downtown from 1pm to 3pm. See our Events page for other upcoming opportunities to meet the dogs.
Buddy – Spring 2015
Thank you to our supporters and volunteers helping this spring – UT School of Veterinary Medicine, Young-Williams Animal Center, Ideal Veterinary Hospital, Catatoga Kennels, Mountain Mutt Media, and the local businesses that help by hosting adoption events for us.
Special thanks to the Abby Gibson Memorial Foundation for providing the Cool Class Sponsorship for both the fall 2104 and spring 2105 sessions. Their generous donation will help us provide snacks and drinks for all of the kids during their four weeks of class, plus t-shirts, certificates and goodies for graduations.
Winnie – Spring 2015
Special thanks to Julie G for sponsoring Winnie in the spring class. Julie lost her long-time friend, Char earlier in the year, and wanted to honor her memory by helping another dog. Her generous donation will provide all the vet care, boarding, food and training supplies for Winnie through the class.
